DevOps Engineer

We need a DevOps engineer who can design and own the infrastructure layer for our client projects — primarily on AWS and Azure — and build the internal tooling that keeps our delivery pipeline fast and reliable. You care about uptime, automation, and security in equal measure, and you're comfortable being the person who gets called when things break.

Ansvarsområder

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure for client projects on AWS and Azure using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform primary)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across client and internal projects — GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
• Own containerisation and orchestration: Docker for all environments, Kubernetes for production workloads where scale demands it
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks — Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor
• Manage secrets, environment configuration, and access control across environments — security is not an afterthought
• Conduct infrastructure cost reviews and optimise cloud spend without compromising reliability
• Support the development team with local environment tooling, developer experience improvements, and deployment automation
• Respond to production incidents — own the runbook, lead the diagnosis, write the postmortem
• Advise clients on cloud architecture decisions: right-sizing, multi-region strategy, disaster recovery planning

Krav

• 3+ years of professional DevOps or platform engineering experience
• Deep AWS hands-on experience: EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, IAM, VPC — you've built production systems on these, not just read the docs
• Solid Azure experience: AKS, Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Azure DevOps, Entra ID
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform — you write modules, manage state, and understand the import problem
• Docker proficiency: multi-stage builds, image optimisation, registry management
• CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance — branching strategies, environment promotion, rollback procedures
• Linux system administration fundamentals — you're comfortable at the shell when something goes wrong
• Security mindset: least-privilege IAM, secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault), network security groups
• Strong written English for client-facing infrastructure documentation

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Professional certification
• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or DevOps Engineer (AZ-400) certification
• Kubernetes administration experience (CKA or equivalent knowledge)
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management
• Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) for microservices environments
• FinOps experience: cloud cost allocation, reserved instances strategy, Spot/preemptible workload design
• Exposure to compliance requirements: GDPR data residency, EU-specific cloud considerations
• Experience with Vercel, Netlify, or similar edge deployment platforms alongside traditional cloud
