Delivery
Project Manager
We need a project manager who understands software development well enough to push back on technical estimates and well enough to explain scope creep to a client without losing the relationship. You'll run delivery for multiple client projects simultaneously — keeping timelines honest, stakeholders informed, and the team unblocked.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery for 2–4 concurrent client projects — from kickoff through to handover and maintenance transition
- Run discovery sessions with clients to define scope, timelines, and success criteria before development begins
- Maintain project plans, milestones, and risk registers — and actually update them when reality changes
- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and weekly check-ins with both internal teams and clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during active development — managing expectations, reporting progress, and escalating issues early
- Identify scope creep before it becomes a budget overrun — have the conversation, document the change, update the contract
- Write clear, detailed project briefs and handover documentation that developers can work from without chasing clarification
- Track project profitability and flag margin risks to leadership
- Contribute to improving internal delivery processes — retrospectives should produce change, not just notes
Requirements
- 3+ years of project management experience in a software development or IT consultancy context
- Demonstrable experience managing external client relationships — not just internal stakeholders
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle — enough to have credible technical conversations
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology in practice, not just in theory
- Proficiency with project management tooling: Linear, Jira, Notion, or equivalents
- Excellent written and spoken English — you'll write proposals, status reports, and meeting minutes that clients read
- Ability to run multiple projects without dropping context — strong personal organisation is non-negotiable
- Comfort with ambiguity — requirements change, clients change their minds, and you stay calm while the scope evolves
Nice to have
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
- Experience managing web or mobile development projects specifically
- Exposure to EU-funded project requirements and reporting obligations
- Experience working with Nordic (Scandinavian) clients
- Basic technical literacy: can read a GitHub issue, understand a deployment pipeline, speak credibly about an API
- Experience building proposals and scoping documents from scratch
- Second language: Danish or Romanian is a significant advantage
What we offer
- Competitive salary with performance component tied to project outcomes
- Direct client ownership — your projects, your relationships
- Remote-first with EU timezone collaboration
- Annual learning budget including PM certifications
- Clear growth path: Senior PM → Head of Delivery as the team scales
- Small team where good process work is actually visible and valued
